Green juice might not be for everyone, but let me tell you, our CEO will change your mind with her take on green juice! While it's hard to improve the classic green juice and find a balance of sweetness and healthiness, she has perfected her vision of the green juice. We just can't get enough!

The Benefits of Drinking Green Juice

There's nothing worse than walking into a juicery and seeing the prices of the juices. What's up with that?! This helped motivate our boss to come up with her own recipe. Some of the practical benefits from making your own green juice is it is more economical, you can use up your leftover produce and not to mention, you can drink it anytime you like!

In addition, some of the health benefits are healthier and clearer skin, more energy, higher immunity and extra portion of plant-based nutrition in your diet.

Recipe

Ingredients (for 2 servings):

 

3-4 stalks celery

1/2 cucumber

4 handfuls of spinach

1 green apple

1/3 pineapple

1/2 lemon

Small piece ginger

2 small passion fruits (for sweeter juice)

 

Instructions:

 

1. Clean and cut all veggies & fruit.

2. Juice (or blend).

3. Drink & enjoy!

4. If you like it chilled, add ice

Notes

Don't worry if you don't have a juicer. Although a juicer works best for a juice like this, you can simply blend your ingredients in a blender and sieve to pour the juice through. It will be a thicker juice but the taste will be the same!

 

How long can you store the juice for?

It’s really best to drink green juice right away, but it can be left (covered) in the fridge for 24-48 hours.

We also prefer to drink this green juice ice cold so we add a few ice cubes.
